PART IV & Final episode of “Renaissance – The Tale of a Humble Village”

Much to Everyone's surprise, the evil doings in Renaissance were not by Angodor's design after all! It was stepmother Andracrueles who fabricated the food shortage through the stockpiling of foodstuffs in the neighboring storehouses by the Castle Main. A direct descendent of the Donald of NYC, Helen of Troy and Billy Gatez, head of the Swiss Philanthropic bank, she was destined to create the taxing scheme that yielded her 150% profit on the villagers' earnings.

The stepmother had a mishap about 3 days before the grand gala...She was moving some heavy artillery, some jewels and about 3 dozen buckets of chicken legs (from the Colonel) for the event when she yielded a final “GASP!” then fell to the ground...Pronounced dead on impact by the Court Physician, though he could not ascertain whether it was the moving activities or the chicken bone lodged in her throat that caused the final demise of the stepmum.

With Andracrueles out of the picture and the Gala achieved without a hitch, Angodor was free to pursue his childhood dream: to travel the world in a wooden raft built for two, for you see, a fine lady he met at the Gala shared his dream...after being wed by the JP, they bid the town adieu, receiving a fine send off with the towns' maidens tossing daisies and roses as they sailed off into the sunset...Angodor could rest assured, leaving the village of Renaissance in the capable hands of Euron, the new King of Renaissance.

The Villagers' hopes for happiness seemed to be taking place already with food now aplenty, taxes reduced and no propaganda! With the Royal Wedding to take place in one week, everyone was scurrying about! Off to see the tailor to transform their gala gowns into wedding appropriate attire...and aiding with castle decorations at the castle, which was quite an event as ladders hadn't been invented yet!

The deep violet ribbons cascaded down and down and over and across the vast space that was the Royal Ballroom. Everything was going according to plan. Euron would be wed to the lovely capable Madelanos, who was of Noble birth. Euron found her lovely beyond belief, yet had to stay focused on his elaborate mission, finally coming to fruition. Euron, a secret agent from Outer Mongolia, had the primary goal of possession of the village. Renaissance being strategically placed in the midzone, beyond the Chiavona Desert; made it paramount for Euron's control of the region, to ensure the completion of an intricate plan by the Kremlin, guaranteed to set Euron up for life. He must not get blindsided by extraneous matters such as love or passion... As far as anyone knew, he was a chivalrous, sensitive and competent warrior whose only aim was the preservation of Renaissance and protection of its humble inhabitants.

Madelanos entered the room in her flowing wedding gown; her beauty and elegance for all to see and admire. She gracefully knelt before her King... Euron gently placed the crown upon her lovely hair, careful not to notice the sweeping curls around the edge of the golden crown. Placing it quickly, he looked up to the Medieval Priest as if to cue him on. After the ceremony, The knights in full armor knelt before the King and Queen, now wed, and happily exclaimed, “Long live the King and Queen!” The townspeople, as well, shouted with joy, “Long live the King and Queen!”. The villagers were filled with hope & happiness; now that Euron & Madelanos were to rule their village...things were really looking up!!! Way UP!!

A new day and age was beginning in Renaissance. .. a very new day indeed...
