"Renaissance - The Tale of a Humble Village"
As you may recall from Part I, Angodor, the autocratic ruler of Renaissance, had no mercy on his humble subjects with the unending propaganda, inhumane taxing structure and full control of the townspeoples' every word and excuse me for saying so, but had the Village going to the dogs!

In Part II we met the able knight Euron, whose many relationships with the Villagers was growing exponentially thanks to the discovery of the rare metal, Mitronite, which gave him additional duties as the head of the FTC! A job to be added to his already hectic daily routine which consisted of a never-ending stream of battles, chivalry in and around town not to mention his continuous work answering questions posed by the Daily Rumour's merciless morphing escapades.

Part III “Renaissance - The Tale of a Humble Village”
It seemed as though Madelanos floated down like a gentle breeze into Renaissance, from the hidden and unknown lands of the far off Roundeli Mountains that hung in the mist as if an imagined world of the past. Prior to the lovely maiden's descent into Renaissance, the Villagers had reported an unknown mist, with a lavender hue, that hung over the far off mountains possessing the soft scent of “Lily of the Valley”.
Madelanos was the most beautiful princess to ever grace the presence of Renaissance. The villagers were mesmerized by her lovely black hair; violet eyes and impeccable taste in handcrafted ornamental barrettes that adorned her long flowing hair.
Euron had somehow forgotten all about his overwhelming duty roster (previously starting to truly concern him) with his newly acquired role as the head of the FTC and his otherwise insanely busy schedule fighting enemy combatants, hour upon hour rescuing damsels and his endless chivalrous duties in town, around the mines and everywhere else too! Euron's whole being was now enthralled by her unequaled beauty, not to mention her amazing capacities in Sociopolitical matters, Facility Engineering and Economics.
Within the first week of her arrival, she was orchestrating the largest gala event ever witnessed in Renaissance. With the aid of her Uncle Estophecus' inside connections on Castle Ops, the whole village received invitations to the spectacular event, which was to be held in the Majestic Royal Ballroom. Madelanos had scheduled sessions with Renaissance's most respected tailors and each maiden was in queue for the individual fitting of their one-of-a-kind grand gown, for which money was no object! In addition she had arranged for government funded dance instruction for all Villagers, scheduled with Flamencos, the most accomplished dancer in the village. Flamencos was supplying the busy miners with instructional videos accessible on their newly disseminated Iphones, may S. Jobs RIP, as seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIG0r0CCBBw so they could refine their dance steps to prepare for the rapidly approaching gala (without missing out on the valuable Mitronite retrievals which would aid in grand ball and electronics subsidies).
Much to everyone's delight, the King was ironically loosening his shackles on the Peasants. Food quotas were up, mandatory theatre attendance was indefinitely canceled and morale was at an all time high.
Oh and by the way, the Daily Rumours reported that Madelanos and Euron were seen walking arm in arm in Heriot's pass; though there were no glossies in this Edition of the tablet, as software upgrades were required on the morphing program; yet everyone's time was being spent preparing their sonatas, dance lessons and apparel for the Grand Gala!

The way you introduced Madelanos at the beginning is eerily similar to a passage from my last novel. Great imagery and nice narrative piece. Bring on the Grand Gala! :)
